frederik wrote the game up as a product requirements document split into 7 milestones, then had Claude Code build it one milestone at a time, he wrote on X. He says it took about 2 days and ended with 60 passing tests and a 15 MB web build, made in Unity 6.
All of the art is AI-generated. Seedream 5 Pro and GPT Image 2.5 produced the concepts, and Meshy turned them into every 3D model in the game, all through Magnific.
The concepts, models, an icon sheet and the audio cost about 7,010 Magnific credits on its cheapest plan. Roughly 5,240 of those credits went on the 3D models.
frederik's earlier Claude Code game, Bolt Pit: Robot Arena, is live on CrazyGames. Public numbers shared by Zeke Chan on X show 628 players, an average playtime of 3 minutes and 0.7% day-one retention.
Mowtopia is still in development, and no release date has been announced.
