Bolt (bolt.new) is a browser-based AI builder for websites, web apps and mobile apps. You chat with its agent, it writes the code, and the project runs in your browser on WebContainers, a technology from StackBlitz, the company behind Bolt, according to Bolt's help center. There's nothing to install.
Bolt's own pages don't mention games, and it has no game-specific tools. Because a browser game is a web project, though, Bolt can be used to write one. Bolt also sponsored the 2025 Vibe Coding Game Jam run by @levelsio (Pieter Levels): the jam's archived site is titled "Bolt Vibe Coding Game Jam 2025," lists Bolt.new, Coderabbit AI and Lambda Labs as sponsors, and says more than 1,000 games were entered.
Pricing is based on tokens. As of October 2026, Bolt's pricing page lists a free plan with 1 million tokens a month (300,000 a day), Pro at $25 a month starting at 10 million tokens with rollover, and Teams at $30 per member. The page notes that most token use comes from syncing your project's files to the AI, so larger projects use more tokens per message.
You can take the code with you. Bolt's help center explains how to download a project as a zip and how to create a GitHub repository from a project. That makes Bolt one option for prototyping a small web game before moving it into your own setup. AIGamer hasn't tested it.
