Replit is a browser-based coding platform, and Replit Agent is its AI that writes, runs and publishes apps from a description. Replit announced the Agent in September 2024, according to its blog, and released Agent 4 on March 11, 2026.

Replit doesn't present itself as a game tool, but its docs include a game example. A quickstart has the Agent build "PixelGames," an app styled like a retro handheld console with one playable block game, as a native iOS and Android app that you preview in a simulator inside Replit. For web games, the Agent builds and hosts the project like any other web app.

You get ordinary code. Replit's help docs say any project can be downloaded as a zip, so you can move a game to your own machine or another host.

Pricing, as of October 2026: the free Starter plan, described in Replit's docs, gives daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, but only the lighter "Lite build" mode and one published app whose link goes down after 30 days. Core is $20 a month ($18 billed yearly) and adds Full build, the more autonomous mode; Pro starts at $100 a month ($90 yearly).

Replit suits people who want a game without installing tools and who are willing to read error messages. Larger games need the same care as any vibe-coded project: small steps and frequent playtests. AIGamer hasn't tested it.
