Ludo.ai is an AI asset generator for games with a focus on animated sprite sheets. Its homepage says it also makes icons, UI, textures, music, sound, video and 3D models, with GLTF export, auto-rigging for humanoids and more than 640 animation presets. It isn't a game builder: a Playable Generator for web prototypes, announced in May 2025, no longer appears on Ludo's features page.
You can use it in the web app, through an API and MCP server, in a Unity plugin, or with Ludo CLI, which Ludo recommends for coding agents such as Claude Code. According to the CLI's README, ludo init writes a per-project file setting the output folder, target engine (Godot, Unity or TexturePacker) and a style image, and an optional credit budget or --max-credits flag refuses runs that would cost more. Generating from the CLI needs a Pro or Studio plan and always uses credits.
The CLI also includes a free Asset Toolbox of 32 tools that run offline with no account or credits, on any assets. Ludo's toolbox page and Make Game With AI describe tools that find a sprite's feet pivot, fit colliders, score walk loops, swap palettes, check texture seams, measure audio loudness, inspect GLB models and list missing assets, then export Godot SpriteFrames, Unity metadata or TexturePacker JSON. The CLI is MIT-licensed on GitHub, needs Node.js 20 or newer, and sends usage telemetry unless LUDO_TELEMETRY=0 is set.
As of October 2026, the pricing page lists Indie, Pro and Studio at $15, $35 and $300 a month billed annually, or $20, $50 and $350 billed monthly; the homepage offers 30 free credits with no card. AIGamer hasn't tested Ludo.ai.

From Ludo.ai's own pricing page, checked 29 October 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.
Limitation: API, MCP and CLI calls always use credits, and generating from the CLI needs a Pro or Studio plan, so the cheaper Indie plan doesn't cover agent-driven generation.
