Blender Game Skills is a free, MIT-licensed repository of Claude Code agent skills for making game assets in Blender, by Majid Manzarpour. It is a separate project from Blender Agent Skills by EL4CTEO, which is already in our directory. As of November 4, 2026 the repo holds one skill, blender-image-to-3d; the README says it is set up so more Blender skills can be added later.

The skill takes reference images such as concept art, model sheets, photos or sketches and has the agent build a game-ready asset (a character, creature, vehicle, prop, weapon, building or environment piece) through 11 gated phases: brief, calibration, blockout, forms, topology, UVs and baking, rig, secondary motion, animation, export, and acceptance. Each gate is passed on measurements rather than by eye: renders from a camera matched to the reference, silhouette overlap scores and proportion checks, with anything the images don't show labeled as inferred.

It runs Blender headless through bundled Python scripts and needs Blender 4.2 or newer (tested on 5.2) plus Python with Pillow; a Blender MCP connection is optional. You install it with npx skills add or by copying the folder. The README says other agents that support skills may work but only Claude Code has been tested. AIGamer hasn't tested it. The repo had about 170 GitHub stars as of November 4, 2026, and its only commit is from September 24, 2026.

Limitation: Only Claude Code has been tested, according to the README, and the agent writes and runs Blender Python build scripts phase by phase, stopping for your approval at each gate unless you tell it not to ask
