NobodyWho is a free, open-source inference engine for running language models locally, with a Godot plugin as one of its main bindings. It's built in Rust on top of llama.cpp, so it loads GGUF models and uses the GPU through Vulkan or Metal where available, falling back to the CPU, according to the project's README.
For game characters, the README lists tool calling that generates grammars from your function signatures, image and audio input, text-to-speech (Kokoro, Pocket TTS and Supertonic), speech-to-text with Whisper, voice activity detection and model downloads from Hugging Face. Beyond Godot, there are bindings for Python, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin and React Native.
The Godot binding runs on Linux, macOS, Windows and Android. It has no iOS export and no web export, and Windows ARM64 isn't supported yet. The license is EUPL-1.2, which the README says allows use in proprietary and commercial games.
The repository was created in September 2024 and had 1,658 GitHub stars on October 29, 2026, the same day it published new releases of five bindings, including version 13.0.0 of the Godot plugin. Like LLMUnity for Unity, it trades cloud quality for zero running costs and offline play: models must fit in the player's memory. AIGamer hasn't tested it; see our AI NPCs guide.
