GDevelop is a free, open-source 2D and 3D game engine where you build game logic from visual "events" instead of code. The editor and engine are MIT-licensed, according to GDevelop's pricing page, and the editor runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, in a web browser, and as iOS and Android apps.
Its AI sits in an Ask AI panel. In an October 9, 2025 blog post, Marcos Codas explained that choosing "Build for me" starts the AI Agent: you describe a feature, such as a player who collects coins and raises a score, and the Agent plans the change, then adds objects, events and behaviors to your project itself. A separate AI Chat answers questions. The same post warns that the Agent can't make a whole game in one go; larger systems take several rounds, and it mainly relies on GDevelop's official extensions.
AI use runs on credits. As of October 2026, GDevelop's pricing page lists 40 AI credits a month on the free plan, and 200, 1,000 or 3,000 a week on the paid Silver, Gold and Pro plans, plus a monthly credit allowance for AI or the Asset Store. Billed monthly, Silver is $7.99, Gold $13.99 and Pro $39.99; yearly billing costs $54.99, $95.99 and $399.99.
Unlike prompt-to-game sites, GDevelop gives you a project you can publish to gd.games, desktop, Google Play and, from Gold, iOS. It suits people who want to learn an engine while the AI does some of the setup. AIGamer hasn't tested it.

Limitation: GDevelop's blog says the AI Agent isn't an instant "make my whole game" button; complex systems take several prompts and fixes, and it mainly uses official extensions.
