Astrocade is a site for making and playing small casual games. You describe a game in everyday language and its AI tools build it; the title of its create page says no code is required. Finished games are published on Astrocade, where other people play them.
In an October 7, 2026 interview with GamesBeat's Dean Takahashi, CEO Amir Sadeghian said Astrocade had reached 10 million monthly active players and more than 100,000 games, which the company calls "playables." He said creators are paid according to how much their games are played and that an iOS launch was being prepared. GamesBeat reported that Sadeghian founded the company in 2022 with his brother Ali Sadeghian and researcher Fei-Fei Li. PocketGamer.biz reported on May 7, 2026 that Astrocade had raised $56m across a Series A led by Sea and a Series B led by Sequoia Capital.
Astrocade also runs a hosted MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI agents to plug into other tools. Astrocade's MCP page gives setup steps for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini CLI: you add the server, sign in to Astrocade, and the agent can then build and publish Astrocade games.
We couldn't find a published price list, and the pages we checked don't describe exporting a game, so treat Astrocade as a place to publish and find players rather than a way to make a game you ship elsewhere. AIGamer hasn't tested it.
Limitation: Astrocade's pages don't describe exporting a game, so it works as a platform you publish to rather than a tool that hands you a portable build.
FAQ
Is Astrocade free?
Playing is free, according to Astrocade's homepage. Its site didn't show a price list for creating games when we checked in October 2026, so we can't confirm what, if anything, creating costs.
Do you need to code to make a game on Astrocade?
No. Its create page is titled "Astrocade AI Game Builder - No Code Required": you describe the game in plain language.
Can you make money on Astrocade?
Astrocade has an Earn page for creators. In GamesBeat's October 7, 2026 interview, CEO Amir Sadeghian said creators are paid based on how much their games are played.
Can I use Claude Code or Cursor with Astrocade?
Yes. Astrocade's MCP page gives setup steps for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini CLI, so those agents can build and publish Astrocade games after you sign in.
