PlayDrop is a site for making and playing browser games. Its getting-started guide sets out the main route: you describe a game in Create, PlayDrop Cloud builds a first playable version online, and you test and change it by chatting in PlayDrop's Studio. Nothing needs installing.
Each Cloud task is paid for in credits by effort, according to PlayDrop's FAQ: 100 (Light), 200 (Medium), 400 (High) or 1,000 (Max), with failed tasks refunded. A game can take several tasks. Free accounts can claim 50 credits a day, stacking up to 350. Plus costs $19.99 a month and Pro $99.99, each with monthly and weekly credit allowances (as of October 2026).
There's a second route for people who already build with an AI agent. PlayDrop Connector, which runs on MCP (a standard way for AI agents to plug into other tools), lets supported agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Replit publish games to your account. You can also import a web game you built elsewhere as a folder, ZIP or HTML file, or register its web address.
The FAQ lists three ways to earn: tips (100% to the creator), a 50/50 split on in-game purchases and credits for ad views. Its terms say creators keep ownership of what they make, but the docs don't describe downloading a Cloud-built game's files. AIGamer hasn't tested it.

From PlayDrop's own pricing page, checked 29 October 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.
Limitation: A single Cloud task costs 100 to 1,000 credits and the FAQ says one game can need several, so the free 50 credits a day go quickly.
FAQ
Is PlayDrop free?
Yes, with limits. Free accounts can claim 50 credits a day (up to 350 stored), and a Cloud task costs 100 to 1,000 credits. Plus is $19.99 a month (October 2026).
Can I publish a game from Claude Code or ChatGPT to PlayDrop?
Yes. PlayDrop Connector, built on MCP, connects supported agents including Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor so they can publish to your account.
Can you earn money from PlayDrop games?
PlayDrop's FAQ says tips go 100% to the creator, in-game purchases are split 50/50, and ads earn credits per qualifying view. On Plus or Pro, earnings are paid every Friday as earned credits.
Who owns games made on PlayDrop?
PlayDrop's terms of service say you keep ownership of the games and content you create, subject to the licenses you grant PlayDrop.
