Ultimate Engine CoPilot is a paid AI plugin for Unreal Engine 5 from BlueprintsLab, which says it's built by two developers. The company says it adds 1,655 editor tools across 37 extensions, so an agent can build Blueprints, C++, VFX, levels, UI, animation and cinematics inside the editor, then compile, play-test and check the result.
According to BlueprintsLab's V2 press release, a Crew mode splits the work between a Planner, a Worker and a Reviewer, each on its own model, and a step only counts as done once the Reviewer passes it. The company also lists Blueprint-to-C++ conversion, multiplayer play tests with up to 8 clients, Unreal Insights profiling, diffs and undo for AI edits, and support for Git, Perforce and Diversion.
You choose where the AI comes from: BlueprintsLab's hosted BpLabs Premium model on a paid plan, your own API key, a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, or a coding agent. The FAQ says it runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot inside the editor, and runs an MCP server for clients such as Cursor. The getting-started docs list Unreal Engine 5.5 to 5.8 on Windows, macOS and x86_64 Linux, but the changelog says the newest build, V2.3.5, is only for Windows on UE 5.6 to 5.8; macOS, Linux and UE 5.5 stay on V2.3.0.
As of October 2026, the pricing page lists a one-time license at $284.99 per seat (bring your own AI), Indie at $25 a month with 50M tokens, and Studio at $80 a month with 150M tokens. V2 is a free update for earlier buyers, including on Fab.
These feature and usage claims are BlueprintsLab's own and unverified; AIGamer hasn't tested the plugin.

Limitation: The macOS build isn't notarized by Apple yet, so a copy downloaded through a browser needs a Terminal command before the editor will load it, per the getting-started docs.
